Hill Barn Golf Club Men's Section
My Name is Matt Bourne and I am the 2024 Hill Barn Club Captain. I’m very humbled and honoured to be Captain of this great club
My nominated charity is The Wellesley Charitable Foundation who support disadvantaged children in Sussex and Surrey, but for my year will focus exclusively on Worthing and I have a whole calendar of events organised which I’d love you to support. My Vice Captain is Dan Smith and with his support I am sure we'll be able to achieve my objectives.
For the term of Captaincy I have 3 main aims and objectives.
1. Win some Club Matches!,
2. Increase participation and integration with the social side of things
3. Raise money for the very worthwhile charity.
The first Social after the Drive-In is ‘The psychology of match play and Q&A overview with Simon Buckley to get our club match season well and truly off the ground!
My first raffle is now open which it is a 4 ball voucher at Royal Cinque Ports. One of the most prestigious courses in the country with a value of over £900! I am limiting the tickets to 250, so a very good chance of winning and these will be £5! Thanks again for all you support!
